Kaplan Meier Survival Report

These instructions describe how to generate a Kaplan-Meier Survival report. Before you can run this program, you must first create a subset of cases from which you want to create the report. If you would like to see instructions on Creating a new Subset click here.

To Run a Kaplan-Meier Survival Report, from the RMCDS Main Menu, click on Reports > Summary\Survival > Kaplan-Meier.

This will bring up the Kaplan-Meier Survival Report window.

Type in the name of the subset you wish to use for this report in the line labeled Subset Name:. You can also look through a list of available subsets by clicking on the Browse button.

In the next line down you can type in a heading for this report. This Heading will appear on each page of the report.

In the middle of the window are listed the options which you can select to customize your report. Click on the black pull arrow to the right of each box and select the desired option form the pull down menu.

Use the Check boxes near the bottom to select if you would like a Line printer graph included in the printout and also to print alive/censured cases and duplicate survival times cases.

After you have selected the options for this report, click on Run. The program will generate the report and then bring up the print options window.

This window gives you the options to Examine & Print,and Delete File, the report. Click on Examine & Print to open the report in the editor defined in your personal parameters. You can view and print this report from your editor.
